Westwood signed Sweden's Americana group Roger & The Rockets for Exclusive Film & Television music representation. The group's latest release "Walking Band", which features "rootsy" grooves, has received rave reviews from the press. Westwood signed Singer/Songwriter Ray Dahrouge for worldwide Film & TV Music Representation. | Westwood has released "Best of B.B. & The Stingers", a compilation by the late Rock/Blues musician Bernie Brausewetter and his power-trio. The release features 4 Bonus tracks and is available on itunes, amazon mp3, emusic, napster and rhapsody. Peter Calandra's track "The Round Up" was featured in the Promo Trailer for the CBS Series "NCIS". Stephen Kaminski's song "Russian Folks" is featured in the film "The Trotsky" (2009) starring Jay Baruchel, Colm Feore and Jessica Pare. Lee Williams & The Cymbals song "I Love You More" is featured in the upcoming Film "Splinterheads" (2010) starring Dean Winters, Rachael Taylor and Lea Thompson. Westwood signed Songwriter Gregory Gaskins to an Exclusive Publishing agreement. Mr. Gaskins was the co-writer of several songs for The Manhattans including "I Bet'cha (Couldn't Love Me)". That song peaked at #23 on the Billboard R&B Chart in 1966. In addition, Mr. Gaskins was the Musical Director and Guitarist for The Sweet Inspirations (1968-74). The group was the Opening Act and backed up Elvis on all his tours from 1969 to 1977. | |
